Product details
Although it is a little late, the interest and need for our lifeblood, ottoman turkish, is starting to become more evident every day in our country. It is time for this beautiful feeling and pursuit to continue, not by groping anymore, but by becoming more scientific and tangible. After the 1880s, westerners have made good efforts to learn and teach ottoman turkish, while the ottoman state was still standing, and they were exploring at the same time. During the republic period, this saint in this field will teach this nation the lesson of this business, and especially the works they have revealed about diplomatic and shia writings are at a level that will embarrass us. Preparing a compendium that includes all the eras and topics based on the works of nesih, rik'a, divanî, and siyakat, along with the foundations of ottoman turkish, has been a goal we have been considering for twenty years. It seemed absolutely necessary to prepare such an introduction, a key that is compatible with text and logic, as a way to open a door to wide-ranging ottoman cultural works. However, such a study was not attempted either in the ottoman period or afterwards, so it was exciting.
it was the experience of a quarter of a century in the ottoman archives and our hasbelkader knowledge of arabic and persian that gave us the courage to work on this issue today. However, this courage was not enough
so we presented our project to our valuable colleagues in the field and to çelik publications.
they also supported us in terms of information and technical maintenance by encouraging us in this work. We thought that the place, time, and conditions could not be better than this, and we started this difficult job as a result of consultations. We intended to complete such a work, which separately addresses the ottoman state and culture and their writings, by making the first volume of the foundation and text books with the inscription of neseih.
