how to play the game?

1. Reversi is played with special stones, one side of these stones is black, the other side is white. Initially, four white and four black stones are placed in the four squares in the middle of the game board respectively. If the player is going to make a move, he must place a stone facing the face with his own stone color. The player cannot place a stone everywhere - with each move, the opponent must capture one or more stones. While doing this, it is necessary to have stones of its own color in the same order, either diagonally, vertically or horizontally. If there are stones belonging to the opponent between the section where one of the sides placed a stone and another stone belonging to it, they also change color and take the color of the player's stone. The captured stones turn over (their color changes) and become the player's own stone. If the player cannot capture any of the opponent's pieces in the current situation, the turn passes to the opponent.

2. The most important move to win in the game is to place your stones in the corners. The more corners you have, the higher your chances of winning. However, occupying these four corners does not necessarily mean that you will win the game. It is necessary to carefully make preparatory moves from the first move to place the stone in the corner. Although preparation moves are made with different techniques for each player, in general, they start placing stones without overflowing the 16 squares in the middle. After placing stones in these squares, the most important thing to do to avoid giving the corners to the opponent is not to put as many stones as possible in the neighboring squares of the corner squares. The game continues by placing stones on the squares outside the neighboring squares of the corner squares.

3. "if the player cannot make a valid move, they are informed about this situation with the message ""you cannot make a move"" and the move order is passed to the opponent by making an ""empty"" move." Such moves are referred to as “pass” in the game score. The rule of the top applies to the opponent as well. The game ends automatically when both players say pass.
