Disinfect the wound with a disinfectant (Microdacyn WoundCare is recommended) and gently soak the dressing around the wound. When the dressing is saturated with exudate, it must be replaced in a timely manner. At the beginning of the stage, the dressing should be replaced daily. Calcium alginate can be used for up to 7 days on the wound, depending on the patient's condition. It is recommended that the dressing be changed every 24 hours initially, if necessary.
