whichever gear position is engaged is shown on the knob.

1-) the old gear dust cover (bellows) is moved to the new knob, 2-) the knob is placed in its place. The male-female cable located under the prnds gear panel separates from one of the cables, the male-female cables of the knob are attached in between and the installation is completed instead of the frame.

cannot fit in place of old type side press latch knobs do not buy!!. Returns of products that have been manipulated for installation will not be accepted.
