Before first use, wash the product. Allow the pot to cool before washing to avoid thermal shock that could crack the pot. Wash in hot water with liquid detergent. It is recommended to dry the pot before storage. If stored for a long time or used infrequently, cover it with a thin layer of mineral oil or paraffin to form a protective layer against rust.
