Walnut leaf tea is a dietary supplement known for its beneficial health properties.
It contains walnut leaves (Juglandis Folium), rich in tannins, flavonoids, minerals, and vitamin C, along with active compounds such as juglone and hydrojuglone.
Thanks to these components, the tea has astringent, bacteriostatic, hypoglycemic, and antidiarrheal effects, making it useful for various gastrointestinal and rheumatic issues.
For internal use, it is recommended to prepare an infusion of 1-2 teaspoons of the plant in 250 ml of boiling water.
Cover the vessel and let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then strain.
You can consume 2-3 cups a day between main meals.
For external use, the concentrated infusion can be used for washes, compresses, poultices, or gargles, being effective in treating , contact dermatitis, fungal infections, and oily skin.
It is important not to exceed the recommended daily dose and not to extend the regimen for more than 6 months.
The product should be kept out of reach of young children and does not replace a varied and balanced diet.
