Kitonail, 80 mg/g, 3.3 ml, Angelini Indications: Kitonail 80 mg/g nail lacquer is a broad-spectrum antifungal medication effective against a wide range of fungi.
It is intended for topical use on fingernails and toenails, as well as the immediately surrounding skin.
It is used to treat mild to moderate fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) caused by filamentous fungi and/or other fungi susceptible to ciclopirox.
The active substance, ciclopirox, inhibits fungal growth and destroys fungi, thereby helping to improve the appearance of the nails.
Method of administration: Always use Kitonail 80 mg/g medicated nail lacquer exactly as your doctor has told you.
You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Cutaneous administration (for use only on nails and the immediately surrounding skin).
Kitonail 80 mg/g medicated nail lacquer is for use in adults only.
Allow Kitonail 80 mg/g medicated nail lacquer to dry for approximately 30 seconds.
The nails should not be washed for at least 6 hours after application
therefore, application in the evening before bedtime is recommended.
Composition: The active substance is ciclopirox.
One gram of medicated nail lacquer contains 80 mg of ciclopirox.
The other ingredients are: ethyl acetate, ethyl alcohol (96%), cetostearyl alcohol, hydroxypropyl chitosan, and purified water.
