ARES Cthulhu Bay

Product description

Cthulhu bay is an innovative detective role-playing game that reimagines the classic cthulhu mythos, created by hp lovecraft, in a modern, inventive, and highly narrativized format. Visually reminiscent of pulp horror magazines like weird tales and mechanically inspired by cthulhu hack and brindlewood bay rpg, this game offers a fresh perspective on cosmic mysteries. The game uses a simple but clever system with no pre-determined endings, instead featuring investigations called "stories." As players uncover clues, they piece together their own interpretation of the events, creating a unique finale each time. Emphasis is placed on creativity, reasoning, and collaborative storytelling.

This guide contains all the rules necessary for the game, understandable explanations for the masters of the game and four ready-made stories that will take players to different times and places: 1930s greenland, 17th century karelian village, a medieval monastery full of intrigue and even a mysterious planet. Cthulhu bay is presented in english and is ideal for groups looking for an investigative horror rpg that is flexible, story-oriented and playable. Cosmic horror themed, role-playing game.
