ARGITAL - Sage Toothpaste, 75 mlIt has a soothing effect on the gums and prevents cavities.
Argital toothpastes are 100% natural.
They contain sun-dried green clay gel and natural ingredients such as Demeter certified medicinal plant extracts and pure essential oils.
Argital toothpastes do not contain preservatives, fluoride, foaming agents, saccharin.
Ingredients: vegetable glycerin, spring water, kaolin, calcium carbonate, organic alcohol, xanthan gum, sage oil*, sage leaf extract, rosehip extract, Solum Fullonum, sea salt, chlorophyllin, myrrh extract, dracilla extract.
*composition of natural essential oils: limonene and linalool.
Toothpastes have been the subject of controversy countless times due to the negative influence of their abrasiveness on tooth enamel.
To eliminate such suspicions, Argital Spa, continuously concerned with promoting high-quality products, certified by competent bodies, requested the University of Pavia, Department of Medicinal Science, to carry out a study to evaluate the abrasiveness of sage toothpaste.
The study "Instrumental evaluation of the relative abrasiveness of toothpaste" led by Prof.
Paola Perugini, PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Pavia, Italy, was carried out according to the regulations and evaluation criteria of the European standard UNI ENISO 11609/2010. The evaluation of abrasiveness was done using optical analysis, a procedure that allows obtaining 3D images of tooth surfaces and processing them so that the topographical representation necessary for analyzing the surface profile, the characteristic parameters of the microrelief and its modifications can be made.
The results clearly show that the use of the Argital toothpaste that was the subject of the study does not lead to significant changes in surface roughness, values directly correlated with the abrasive power of the toothpaste.
Based on the results obtained by applying the protocol described in the study, the Sage Toothpaste produced by Argital was proven to be NON-ABRASIVE.
