Product description
Dixit Game - Daydreams Extension Go to the amazing land of dreams and come back with a new dose of associations! Dixit 5 is 84 new, amazing cards drawn by Franck Dion - French illustrator and animated film director.
Dixit is a game of association, whose unusual graphic design, simple rules and unlimited imagination create a new dimension of entertainment.
What is it about? Each player takes turns becoming a storyteller.
He chooses one of his 6 pictures and comes up with an association for it.
A sentence can be a single word, a sound, a quote - there are no limits here, you can even sing something! Then, the other players choose from their cards the one they think best matches the storyteller's password and place it face down on the table.
The storyteller shuffles all these cards, including his own, and places them face up on the table.
The players (except the storyteller) secretly vote on which card is the card for which the storyteller made an association.
When everyone has made a choice, scoring begins.
If no one guesses which card belonged to the storyteller because his association was too abstract, he gets no points and the other players are rewarded.
Similarly, if all votes point to the storyteller's card - it means the association was too simple or too literal.
In other combinations, points are awarded and note, if any of the players vote for the card you played because you played something that in their opinion fit the association better, you get bonus points! So it's worth playing cards intelligently, trying to confuse other players, keeping the ones we have an interesting association for and waiting to play them until it's your turn.
Remember that a picture is worth a thousand words! Attention! This is not a standalone game! Requires the base game: Dixit to play.
Packaging dimensions: 28 x 12 x 4 cm.
