The eastern province of Zhejiang is famous for Lung Ching tea, cultivated near Xihu Lake, close to the city of Lonjing, since the Tang dynasty.
Known as the 'Dragon's Well' due to a legend about a rain-bringing dragon, it has been awarded the highest possible title, 'The Emperor's Tea.
' Its taste explains its prestige.
Now originating from cultivation, it is light, sweet, with fruity aromas, retaining the classic green tea character, and offering a truly royal note.
Preparation: 4-5 heaped teaspoons / 1 liter, 75-80°C, 3-5 minutes.
