Use a silicone gun to handle the cartridge; cut the plastic tip above the thread, attach the plastic applicator and cut obliquely to the desired size; ensure joint width is between 6 mm and 20 mm; depth depends on joint width (up to 12 mm maintain 6 mm depth; beyond that, depth equals half the width); insert sealant into the joint and smooth with a wet knife within 10 minutes; remove masking tape immediately after finishing; a skin forms after approximately 15 minutes.
