Product details
Product description
The botslab hk40 plus is a car camera with 4k recording and wi-fi connectivity, designed to be mounted on the windshield of a vehicle. The device records the route taken and stores the necessary footage in case of a traffic incident. The 4k resolution, as mentioned, provides clear details in recordings.
wi-fi connectivity allows access to recordings on your phone. Compatibility. The camera is mounted on the windshield of any car, in the area of the rearview mirror. The chosen position must not obstruct the driver’s field of vision. It is recommended to check the mounting area before installation. For continuous power supply, botslab offers the hardwire obd kit separately, which is compatible with the hk40 plus. The kit frees the cigarette lighter socket and conceals the cable under the upholstery. With this kit, the camera is powered in the manner specified by the manufacturer.
features. The botslab hk40 plus camera records in 4k resolution, as indicated by the product name. The images at this resolution retain more details, which are useful for reading the signs and plaques. 4k files take up more space than files with lower resolutions. Wi-fi connectivity allows you to transfer recordings to your phone without removing the camera from its mount. Files are downloaded using the application specified by the manufacturer. The other functions are those described in the botslab documentation. Usage and maintenance. The windshield is cleaned and degreased in the area where it will be attached, to ensure a secure bond. The lens is kept clean because dust and fingerprints reduce image clarity. The cable runs along the edge of the windshield, without obstructing the driver’s field of vision. Important records are saved separately to prevent them from being overwritten. It is recommended to periodically check the camera’s operation and the storage space. On very hot days, the car’s interior is protected from prolonged direct sunlight when the car is parked.
