Ceresit CT 17 is a synthetic resin-based primer for critical surfaces, before applying tiles, coatings or self-leveling screeds.
Ceresit CT 17 is a deep primer that can be used for indoor and outdoor applications, such as: as a preliminary layer before the execution of ceramic tiling or other marble or stone coatings
for preliminary priming of plaster and plasterboard
as a wall primer for stabilizing and reducing the absorbency of plaster putties before applying washable paint (Ceresit CT 50, Ceresit Pearl, CT 49, CT 48, CT 54 or Ceresit CT 51 - coloring base)
for stabilizing and reducing absorbency before self-leveling screeds and absorbent cement screeds (Ceresit CN 68, CN 69)
for stabilizing and reducing the absorbency of lightweight concrete, AAC, high-density, smooth concrete slabs, and cement-bound substrates.
How to apply Ceresit CT 17 deep primer: The primer should be applied with a brush or whitewash brush.
Depending on the drying conditions, subsequent work can begin after approximately 4 hours.
After hardening, the primed surface must be resistant to abrasion (scratching).
If this characteristic has not been achieved, the priming will be repeated.
Used tools can be washed immediately after use.
Hardened material will be cleaned with thinner.
