Product description

Educational Set - Crystal Growing This exciting set provides everything you need to form incredible crystals using two different methods. Simply mix the included powder with water, and you will see incredible crystals take shape and grow miraculously. A stunning experiment for little researchers! Features: - The STEM toy includes: 1 measuring cup, 2 packets of salts for making crystals, 2 pieces for assembling a coral trunk, 1 box with lid, 1 wet wipe, 1 pair of glasses, 1 stirring rod, 1 pair of disposable PE gloves, 1 seed, 1 stand, and 1 illustrated guide in English. - To create crystals that naturally take tens of thousands of years to appear, children will follow simple rules but achieve a result that will thrill them. Initially, they must pour the 30 g of powder into the graduated cup and add boiling water up to the 80-90 ml mark. The mixture must be stirred for 3-5 minutes until completely dissolved. When the temperature drops to 40 o C, the crystal seed must be placed in the cup, with the convex side up. In 5-14 days, children can admire the formed crystals. During this time, the liquid must not be agitated. After growing, the crystal can be kept in the box with a lid after it has dried naturally. Additionally, children can enjoy creating vividly colored corals. To do this, they will use the two pieces that make up the coral trunk, place them in the stand, and pour the freshly prepared and homogenized liquid over the installed coral. The liquid is prepared following the same rules, using the contents of the packet with 10 grams of powder. After two hours, the coral is fully formed. - The measuring cup is cylindrical in shape and made of transparent plastic, allowing observation of the interior. It is graduated in 20 ml increments, up to 100 ml. - The coral trunk is made of porous cardboard and has terminal ends impregnated with watercolours. The two pieces that compose it are joined and then placed in the stand. - The protective glasses have plastic lenses with lateral extensions for complete protection. - The hexagonal box, for storing the coral, is made of transparent PVC. It is provided with a lid. - The toy is recommended for children over 8 years old. - During play, observe safety measures by using the glasses and gloves included in the set. - This scientific kit is a fantastic way to use your creativity and observe the phenomenon of crystal growth in action.
