Daemi Papo Pteranodon Dinosaur Figurine

Product description

With dinosaurs, walk the Jurassic land, meet the legendary T-Rex, walk through vast plains with the velociraptor or fly with a pteranodon.

The dinosaur Pteranodon lived in the Mesozoic era, during the Upper Cretaceous period, approximately 70 million years ago.

The flying dinosaur Pteranodon had a wingspan of approximately 7-8 meters and a weight of 15 kilograms, its body weight was much reduced by the fact that it had hollow bones on the inside.

The dinosaur Pteranodon was one of the largest flying reptiles, and the most interesting part of it was its very large head with a bone crest of approximately 1.2 meters, which had an important role as a rudder, in stabilizing the position during flight, in quickly changing direction, when this was desired.

This crest was always larger in males than in females.

The product has the following dimensions 23 x 23 x 8.8cm and is recommended for children over 3 years old.
