Evotools Welding Protection Mask with Automatic Optoelectronic Filter and Evotools Head Strap.

Product description

The Evotools Welding Helmet with Automatic Optoelectronic Filter and Headgear offers professional protection and comfort while working, being equipped with an automatic filter with optical class 1/1/1/2 for clear and uniform visibility.

"Optical class 1/1/1/2" is a very important technical specification for welding helmets with an automatic filter (ADF - Auto Darkening Filter).

It indicates the image quality and precision of the filter according to the European standard EN 379. The standard evaluates the filter according to 4 criteria, each rated from 1 (best quality) to 3 (worst):1 Optical class (first digit) - image clarity, i.e. how clean and distortion-free the view through the visor is.2 Diffusion of light (second digit) - how much light is scattered through the filter

a score of 1 means a clear image, without "fog".3 Variation in luminous transmittance (third digit) - the uniformity of darkening across the entire surface of the filter (no lighter or darker areas).4 Angle dependence of luminous transmittance (fourth digit) - how constant the filter's tint remains when viewed from different angles.

So, 1/1/1/2 means a mask of very good optical quality, with a clear and uniform image, but with a small variation in tint when viewed from a certain angle - almost imperceptible in practice.
