__t1__ is a detachable threaded fitting, consisting of two threaded parts and a compression ring/nut, with a sealing gasket between the two halves. the primary function of this type of fitting is to connect two pipe sections or a pipe to a piece of equipment (faucet, pump, meter). this allows for disassembly later without cutting the pipe, simply by unscrewing the nut. Screw size: 3/4"
