Product description
__t1__ is a detachable fastener used for steel zinc pipes in both residential and industrial installations. Net: Internal-external (one part internal thread, the other external thread) for connecting directly to a threaded pipe and an internal threaded fitting/valve.
Size: 1/2"
Material: Cast iron/steel, hot dip galvanized, for anti-corrosion protection.
Construction: The 3-piece design (dutch nut, sealing gasket, and two threaded ends) allows for quick and easy disassembly of the installation without cutting the pipe.
Unlike a fixed union, a dutch union is used where a connection needs to be disassembled later for repair or maintenance (e.g., when installing faucets, pumps, heat exchangers, water meters, etc.).
