The wild Rosa Mosqueta shrub belongs to the Rosaceae family, it is similar to our rosehip, but grows in the South American Andes.
It has a thorny stem and pink chlorotic flowers.
After the flowers wither and fall, the red fruits (rosehips) remain, inside which are the seeds from which this precious oil is extracted.
It belongs to the same species as our rosehip, but this Chilean variety - or Chilean Rose as it is also called, differs in the concentration of active compounds: carotenoids, vitamins E, K and F (linoleic and linolenic acid).
Rosehip oil is recognized for its ability to improve scars resulting from wounds, acne lesions or surgical operations.
Regular application of this oil stimulates the skin regeneration process, collagen and elastin production, cell membrane restoration, wrinkles fading and skin firming.
