Safflower Oil - description, recommendations Safflower Oil is an oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants, beneficial for the skin through its emollient, nourishing, regenerating and anti-aging effect.
It is especially useful for dry skin, mature skin, dark circles, skin affected by redness, couperose, rosacea and for hair care.
Safflower Oil is part of the vegetable oil category.
It has a light texture, does not leave a greasy film on the skin.
It is a rich source of linoleic acid (omega-6), vitamin K, E and antioxidants.
Method of obtaining: by extraction/pressing from the seeds of the plant, followed by refining for dewaxing and deodorization.
Organoleptic properties: clear oily liquid, slightly yellowish color, weak specific odor.
Fatty acid profile: Saturated fatty acids (C:14) 0.2% Myristic acid (C14:0) 0.2% Palmitic acid (C16:0) 7% Stearic acid (C18:0) 3% Oleic acid (C18:1) 15% Linoleic acid (C18:2) 76% Linolenic acid (C18:3) 1% Arachidic acid (C20:0) 1% Eicosenoic acid (C20:1) 1% Behenic acid (C22:0) 1% Ingredients (INCI): carthamus tinctorius seed oil.
