Freewell Adjustable ND filter (gray)

Product description

Freewell Adjustable ND Filter (Gray) The Freewell Adjustable ND Filter combines a VND (Variable ND) filter with a "Mist" diffusion filter, offering enhanced light control and giving your footage a more cinematic look. Adjustment across a range of 2–5 stops (ND4–ND32) allows you to easily adapt exposure from overcast skies to standard sunlight without changing filters. The "Hard Stop" system sets extreme adjustment limits, eliminating the risk of exceeding the operating range and causing cross-polarization effects. The filter is made from Pure High Definition optical glass with a multi-layer coating (18 layers), and additional protection against dust, scratches, and fingerprints enhances its durability during daily use. ND adjustment and diffusion effect in a single filter The Freewell filter combines two functions in one accessory, eliminating the need for a separate diffusion filter and an adjustable ND filter. Variable neutral density enables smooth control over the amount of light reaching the sensor, facilitating proper exposure settings during video recording and photography. At the same time, the "Mist" layer subtly softens the image and gently diffuses light around its sources, giving photos a more cinematic appearance without losing significant detail. This solution works well for both video production and creative portrait and outdoor photography. Hard Stop – Fast and reliable adjustment The Hard Stop mechanism limits the filter's rotation range to 2–5 stops, allowing quick and consistent setting of the desired darkness level. This solution eliminates the possibility of entering the range that causes the cross-polarization effect, commonly found in many classic VND filters. This will be especially appreciated by those shooting dynamic moving scenes (such as "run &amp

gun" ), where every second counts and there is no time to change fixed filters. An additional advantage is the absence of vignetting when using lenses with focal lengths of 16 mm and above. Included in the set Freewell Adjustable ND Filter
