The fss fire compressor is a small, compact, and lightweight cylinder: the top of the device is a metal tube containing the closing mechanism.

The lower part of the device is made of plastic and the use of a potassium powder jet - a unique method among fire extinguishers - involves spraying powder into the environment and then condensing its material. The product works by breaking the reaction chain of the fire (the "auto-catalyst" of the fire). the aerosol jet is only generated when the charger is activated. The aerosol jet produced is essentially an inert salt that emits a gas composed of elements already present in the atmosphere.
