Product description

Action: Hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, antioxidant.

Recommendations: Type II mellitus (non-insulin-dependent) with or without excess weight.

Due to its predominantly peripheral action, the product can be associated with insulin therapy in type I mellitus (insulin-dependent), resulting in a better balance of the disease.

In these cases, however, insulin therapy will not be discontinued.

Contraindications: The product should not be used as the sole treatment in cases of type I mellitus (insulin-dependent).

Precautions: Using the product in combination with conventional antidiabetic medication requires periodic medical and laboratory monitoring.

The product is well tolerated, but in patients with gastric or duodenal ulcers, to avoid possible gastro-duodenal irritation, the tablets should be taken during meals.

Administration: Depending on the type of disease and blood sugar level, the dosage varies between 2-6 tablets/day as follows: - For patients with type II mellitus with blood sugar levels between 120-150 mg/dL, 2 tablets/day at each main meal

- For patients with type II mellitus with blood sugar levels between 150-200 mg/dL, 4 tablets/day, one at each of the three main meals and one at the 11 AM snack

- For patients with type II mellitus with blood sugar levels over 200 mg/dL, 6 tablets/day, one at each of the three main meals and at the three snacks.
