Japanime Games CHAINsomnia

Product description

Chainsomnia is a card game with a dark anime atmosphere, where players take on the role of children trapped in a terrible nightmare.

They're all trapped in akuma's castle, and the only way out is to work together, banish all the bad dreams, and reach the final stone the stone of awakening before they're completely immobilized by chains or crushed by events.

Each player controls a character with unique power, wisdom, and luck statistics, as well as a special ability.

Using an action system based on action points (ap) and a chain meter, characters explore the castle by adding map pieces, searching for items, escaping nightmares, and interacting to evade each other.

However, the danger grows with each round: the demon akuma becomes more active, and nightmares can block rooms, trapping players and reducing available options.

If a player lands on the wake-up stone and all nightmares are removed, everyone wins.

If everyone remains motionless or the activity cards run out, the game is lost.

A horror anime theme with a tense atmosphere and disturbing illustrations.

this modular exploration system features 16 map tiles and a final awakening stone, designed for 2-4 players.
