Optimal CO2/pH control JBL PROFLORA CO2 CONTROL.
To automate CO2 supply, you can connect the JBL PROFLORA CO2 CONTROL instead of a timer for night shutdown.
If you enter the carbonate hardness (KH) of your aquarium water, it calculates the appropriate pH value, which is set by CO2 addition.
The controller then activates the CO2 solenoid valve and adds CO2 until the calculated or desired pH value is reached.
The CO2 solenoid valve is then closed and reopened so that the pH value remains stable.
Since the pH value automatically drops at night, the CO2 controller does not add CO2 via the CO2 solenoid valve at night.
The pH measurement of the water is then carried out via a pH electrode, which is not included in the set, to ensure that you do not receive an aged electrode.
