Product details
Product description
A temple honoring the gods has been erected in the heart of an Aztec city.
The interior walls are to be decorated with paintings of feathered serpents to pay tribute to the deities.
Elections will be held to determine who is the empire's finest Coatl painter, granting them the honor of painting the temple walls.
Can you prove your skill? In Coatl, players will paint the most valuable serpents possible.
The serpent (Cóatl) is composed of a head, a tail, and 8 cards for the body.
Each turn, players play 2 cards to create and acquire sketches available in the Prophecy cards.
If you manage to complete a Prophecy card already acquired by another player, you will steal it and display it in front of you.
You earn more points if you recreate the same pattern multiple times, and eventually, you will be able to protect that Prophecy card so it can no longer be stolen.
The game lasts 5 rounds.
Players will earn additional victory points if they fulfill all requirements listed on a Temple card.
When the last player completes their Cóatl, the player with the most victory points wins.
