Product details
Product description
The original 66S0Z00 optical unit will replace one of the most important components of your laser printer.
The optical unit, also called the optical drum, is responsible for transferring and fixing the toner to the paper - that is, for the printing itself.
Since in laser printers that have a separate optical unit, the optical drum is not regularly replaced together with the toner, the optical drum gradually wears out.
The right time to replace the optical unit is when you start to notice print defects.
The independent optical unit 66S0Z00 with a capacity of 75,000 pages is designed to survive the life of the toner cartridge several times.
Their higher purchase price is perfectly balanced by cheaper consumables - toner cartridges for printers that use an independent optical unit (the optical drum is not part of the toner) are cheaper than those that have an integrated optical drum.
The original 66S0Z00 optical unit is manufactured and tested under the strict supervision of your printer manufacturer
Lexmark, guaranteeing that everything will work as it should.
In general, print outputs from original parts are more reliable and accurate than when using alternatives in the form of compatible parts.
Original optical units have fewer compatibility problems and do not generate unnecessary complications with the possible claim of the printer during the warranty period.
However, their disadvantage is the high purchase price.
An advantageous alternative are compatible optical units, which are often cheaper.
The American company Lexmark is one of the global leaders in display and printing services.
