    Product details

    Product description

Beneficial effects of Pu-Erh Tea: • it is rich in antioxidants • increases muscular endurance • successfully replaces coffee, energizing the body • helps maintain oral hygiene and health • strengthens the immune system • fights the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation.

Pu-Erh tea (also known as “aged tea”) is one of China's great treasures, recently discovered by the Western world.

It is a tea unlike any other, its attributes often compared to those of aged wine (the older, the better).

Like the world's great wine regions, Pu-Erh tea production is highly regulated to ensure the best quality and authenticity.

Only tea made from the leaves of old trees, originating from Yunnan province, can be called Pu-Erh tea.

Pu-Erh tea is also called “Tea of Life” because it is produced from the leaves of old and wild trees, having stronger effects and containing high Qi – Qi representing “life energy”.

The tea leaves are grown and harvested in settlements along the Lancang River (Yunnan, China).

The superb tea plantations of Yunnan stretch along the Lancang River valley, and the four main production areas are: Xishuangbanna, Pu’er (Simao), Lincang, and Baoshan.

Of all, the Pu’er region has the oldest wild tea trees, with broad leaves “Yunnan Large Leaf”.

Each property produces its own special type of leaves, ranging from cultivated plants with strong stems and tips to large and delicate leaves that grow wild on slopes.

Some trees are said to be over 1000 years old.

Leaves picked from these old trees are called “wild arbor”.

The leaves are harvested and then sent to Pu-Erh city where each producer creates their own blend of leaves – unique recipes that are recognized over time.

Paradoxically, in Yunnan, in the past, pressed and aged tea was seen as an export commodity, locals preferring younger, greener leaves.

History has contributed to considerable confusion in naming Chinese teas.

In the West, what is considered Black Tea, in China is considered Red Tea.

True black teas, as they are known in China, are post-fermented (aged) teas, of which Pu-Erh is the most famous.

Pu-Erh tea, grape berries, currants, hibiscus, elderberries, raspberries, blueberry puree, strawberries.

Preparation: for each 250 ml cup, put approximately 5 grams of mix in 90℃ water and let it infuse for 4-5 minutes.

If the infusion time or temperature exceeds the recommended values, the tea leaf will release more theine.

    Packaging: bag with resealable clip.
