Malossi has introduced a new type of variator for 600cc 4-stroke Maxi-scooters.
Multivar 2000 MHR, this type of variator is intended for daily use with Sport rather than Racing characteristics.
With this variator, Malossi has offered its customers the possibility to transform their maxi-scooter by increg acceleration, offering very good handling while maintaining the touring scooter feel.
This variator is made of materials used in sports competitions, is perfectly balanced, the belt's running surface is treated with cadmium, the rollers used are HT type (resistant to wear and very high RPMs, the surface is made of textolite and ABS which does not leave dust after wear).
Malossi engineers worked intensively on the roller ramp, offering optimal performance in both situations: very fast acceleration and a slightly increased speed.
They focused more on rapid acceleration because the goal was to maintain the Sport Touring scooter genre.
The variator contains two sets of 8 rollers of 29.8x19.8x22gr and 29.8x19.8x24grams.
The variator does not contain the crankshaft fixing part
the original part is used.
