The map was produced using the most up-to-date cartographic techniques and printed on moisture-resistant paper.
It is easy to read and simple to use thanks to the cartographic representation styles specific to the Schubert &
Franzke company and the practical structuring of the information.
Everything is at hand, exactly where needed, making it useful for both hiking enthusiasts and professionals.
The Grădiştea Muntelui-Cioclovina and Vf.
Şureanu-Lacul Oaşa areas appear at a more detailed scale: 1:40,000. All routes were surveyed on the ground with a GPS device.
They are described in detail in Romanian and English, with some routes including representative images.
Each route has a technical box containing: the verified tourist marking, the route path, a profile with key reference points, data on difficulty, length, total ascent, total descent, round-trip time, seasonal practicability, etc.
The map also includes a UTM grid, a metric coordinate system, useful for quickly measuring distances on the map.
