Product description

Nikwax Down Wash and Proof is easy to use for down clothing, down sleeping bags, or hydrophobic down.

The solution gently removes dirt and helps maintain the down's properties.

The new formula now also includes a waterproofing solution.

It cleans effectively, enhances thermal comfort, and restores water repellency.

Use Nikwax Down Wash on visible stains before starting the wash.

Shake well before use.

Follow the instructions on the labels of the items to be washed.

Machine wash – for down clothing only: remove all detergent residues from the dispenser.

Place the item in the washing machine (no more than 1 item).

Use 2 caps (100ml) or 3 caps (150ml) – if the water is hard, follow the instructions on the label.

Hand wash – for down clothing and 1–2 season sleeping bags: wear gloves and place the items in warm water in a bathtub.

For clothing, use 2 caps (100ml) or 3 caps (150ml) for hard water.

For sleeping bags, use 3 caps (150ml) for 4cm of water in the tub.

Mix well, soak for 5–10 minutes, then mix again.

Rinse with cold water until the water runs clear.

Sleeping bags must be rinsed very thoroughly and squeezed to remove water from the interior.

Drying: use a drying program three times.

Follow the label instructions and dry until clumps inside disappear.

If you shake the items frequently, the down will distribute evenly.

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not ingest.

Avoid contact with eyes.
