Product description: This is a high contrast oled display with a resolution of 128x64 pixels.the display is controlled by spi. Technical specifications: 128x64 pixels Spi interface 3.3v supply 27mm x 28mm in size Field of view: 23.74 x 12.86 mm Active area: 21.75 x 10.85 mm Diagonal size: 0.96" Dot (pixel): 0.17x0.17mm Driver screen: ssd1306 Contrast ratio (typical): 2000:1 Viewing range: left: 80.0, right: 80.0, top: 80.0, bottom: 80.0 degrees Appearance: white on black Brightness (typ): 120cd / m2 Arduino ide example connection: To perform this example you will need the following: 1x oled display 128x64 - 0.96" spi | reference __t1__1x groundstudio jade uno development board | reference __t2__different cables for electrical connections. Step 1 - required physical connections between the display and the development board. Oled -------- one 1. gnd -------- ground 2. vcc -------- 3.3v 3. sda/__t4__ -------- d11 (mosi) (don't change) 4. scl/__t5__ -------- d13 (sck) (don't change) 5. d/c -------- d8 (can be any digital pin) 6. res -------- d9 (any digital pin can be) 7. cs -------- d10 (this pin is missing in the 6-pin version of the screen and can be left unconnected) Step 2 - download the arduino ide Before connecting the board, start by downloading the arduino ide 1.8.x from the above address, depending on your preferences and the operating system used. Step 3 - connect the jade uno to your computer After connecting the initial link with the usb-c cable, the computer will try to search for a compatible driver, in which case it will connect directly to windows with the help of the ht42b534-2 chip, as drivers for it will be installed automatically. Step 4 - make the necessary settings in the arduino ide. To select the board, go to the "tools" menu, then press the board button to ensure that arduino uno is selected. Next, we need to tell the arduino ide which of our computer's serial ports is connected to the jade uno. to do this, go back to "tools," then hover your cursor over the serial port option and select the com port for your jade uno. If you have more ports and are unsure which one is the jade uno, disconnect it for a moment and check the menu to see which one disappears. Step 5 - install the necessary library for the display. For the next code, you'll need to install the ht_ssd1306 library. here's how to do it: Click "
ht_ssd1306.zip library"
in the downloads section, and then the ht_ssd1306.zip file is downloaded.
In the arduino ide, go to sketch ->
include library ->
add .zip library ... and select the ht_ssd1306.zip file.
Now the library is installed in the arduino ide and we can upload the code. Step 6 - install a code example. After the library installation is complete, we'll open a code example, and you'll need to follow these steps: Click the ht_ssd1306.zip example in the downloads section, and then download the code_ht_ssd1306.zip file.
Archive the file and open the code_ht_ssd1306.ino in the arduino ide.
Install using the install code button.
After loading the code, the display will show an image of an analog clock, displaying the time set in the code.
