Product details

Product description

The wires that are cut under a chip are not repaired with thick solder, but with a 0.10 mm wire that is barely visible to the naked eye. The 0.10 mm oem fluorocarbon is the perfect material for connecting bridges, i.e., for fly lines and jumpers on phone circuit boards. Its ultra-thin diameter allows you to pass by components without touching the ones next to them. It’s a micro-soldering consumable, so you’ll need a microscope and a fine-tipped soldering iron.

what work are you doing? You use it when you have a broken line after a short distance or after falling into the water, and you need to re-establish the connection over the reef area. It is used for repairing data lines, low-voltage power lines, and temporary connections for diagnostics. With a 0.10 mm tip, you can apply it directly to a pad the size of a strand of hair, without covering the pads next to it.

many technicians consider it an alternative to insulated copper wire when they need to solder only short distances. For long and exposed routes, there is no isolation, so you need to be careful about what you pass by. Plan your route before you turn on the headlights.

working technique. Set the furnace to the minimum temperature that melts the alloy and use a needle-shaped tip. First, make a tiny dot at each end, then bring the thread close and touch it briefly, for just a second, no longer.

with 0.10 mm, excessive heat causes the material to evaporate before it can bond. Fix the board and support your hand, because the tremor is immediately noticeable on this scale. After soldering, i test the continuity with a multimeter on the low resistance scale. Finally, a thin layer of protective lacquer is applied to the tip to prevent it from breaking during the next handling.

handling and storage. It is stored in a pouch or a sealed container because the surface of the wire oxidizes, and then it no longer adheres even with flux. An oxidized wire can be identified by its dull appearance and the fact that it refuses to spread on the pad.

if it has been left out for too long, discard the portion at the end. Do not keep it near heat sources, and do not leave it in the workshop in direct sunlight during the summer. Only unroll as much as you need for the current task, so you don’t get the thread tangled. At 0.10 mm, a knot essentially means a piece has been lost. In short.

in the package: fluoride.
