Apiphen apifaringocalm 50ml for children and adults Apiphen apifaringocalm contains aqueous extract of Romanian propolis enriched with Mallow extract and Chamomile extract.
The bioactive components in the aqueous extract of propolis and Mallow extract support the health of horses, and Chamomile extract and polyfloral honey have a calming effect.
Mallow (Althaea officinalis L.
) The demulcent (emollient, soothing) action of mallow root is due to hydrocolloid polysaccharides that form a protective layer on the oral and pharyngeal mucosa, removing local irritation and inflammation.
Gastric administration of polysaccharide fractions isolated from mallow extract reduces the intensity and frequency of cough.
The antitussive action of mallow extract is more effective than that of some medications.
* Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.
) The chamomile extract used is standardized in 0.3% apigenin.
Apigenin has proven spasmolytic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial properties.
Apifaryngocalm is recommended for tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis accompanied by dryness.
It is used in a dose of 3 drops/kg body weight 2-3 times a day after meals in acute phases and 3 drops/kg body weight 1 time a day for prevention or recovery after an episode of illness.
Contraindicated for people allergic/hypersensitive to bee products.
