Queen Games Star Explorer - Board Game

Product description

Gaze at the starry sky from a completely new perspective in Star Explorer , a captivating board game that blends constellation observation, logic, and strategic planning into an accessible and original experience. Inspired by the fascinating world of astronomy, the game challenges you to identify the most well-known constellations and position them precisely on your own rotating sky map, competing with other explorers for the title of the best night cartographer. Star Explorer represents the international version of the game Night Sky Explorers , initially released by Lucrum Games . Following remarkable success at Essen Spiel 2024, where the limited edition sold out in just two days, the game was acquired by Queen Games for its international launch in 2025. The new edition features updated illustrations and improved components while preserving the beloved mechanics of the original game. In each game, players take on the role of astronomy enthusiasts observing the sky and attempting to map the constellations as accurately as possible. Each player has a personal board with a rotating map on which they must mark the constellations represented by the drawn cards. Each card illustrates one of the most famous constellations, and its placement must follow specific astronomical rules. Points are awarded both for correctly identifying the stars that make up each constellation and for positioning them in the correct area of the map. At the same time, players must ensure that larger formations do not cover smaller constellations, adding an extra layer of strategy and planning. The combination of observation, spatial thinking, and tactical decisions turns every game into a unique challenge. Star Explorer is recommended for the whole family and for enthusiasts of thematic, logical, and educational games. The game language is English , and the high-quality components and elegant illustrations complete a relaxing and captivating gaming experience. The product is officially licensed and can also be ordered with gift packaging , making it an excellent gift for astronomy lovers, strategy game fans, and enthusiasts of modern board games.
