    Product description

Smd components and dense circuits do not allow contact with a thick tip, no matter how well you see them with a microscope. The letter "i" indicates the correct, conical shape, and the manufacturer's source mentions a tip diameter of approximately 0.2 mm. The q200 series quick bits attach to the receiving handles, so please double-check the series before placing your order. With such a fine tip, you can apply exactly the right amount of fabric without disturbing the neighboring pads. Operating at the edge of visibility, a 0.2 mm tip is made specifically for the points you distinguish with magnification alone.

with it, you're working to restore small pads, thin jumper wires, and close pins.

due to the nature of the tool, the amount of fabric laid is small, which means less trimming points. Visibility is the second gain: a slim body doesn't block the area you're looking at.

see how the cage fits and stop in time.

on the phone plates, this control is worth more than any number on the station's display.

flow does half the work a thin tip has a small contact surface, so it only does heat transfer if there is a liquid metal bridge across it.

flow over the area and put a new nugget on top before each touch. Without this, you'll think the top isn't heating up and you're just raising the temperature for nothing. Once the adhesive stops flowing after two to three seconds, it's time to stop and check its flow and final state.

temperature increase rarely solves and often spoils.

the fine tip oxidizes very quickly at high heat. What you never, ever do is put it on screens, thick terminals, or pins that are fed by large, coarse food. There is no way to give the necessary heat and you will finish it in a work day.

for that you would change to a broadhead or a woven tip.

don't sand, file, or sandpaper when it's blackened.

in this order you try rescue paste and brass wire.

when it no longer brings it back, you replace it.
