The tss02 series quick grips are compatible with the stems, so please double-check the series engraved on your stem before placing your order. You gain visibility under the microscope because you can see the solder joint without being obscured by the tip body. A curved tip gets into dense plates, you always see those spots, but you wouldn't comfortably touch them with a straight tip.
