Exoderil 1% Cream, 15g, Sandoz Exoderil 1% cream (naftifine hydrochloride) is an antifungal medication for topical use on the skin.
It is recommended for the treatment of the following infections: - fungal infections of the skin or skin folds (tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis)
- fungal infections of the foot, particularly between the toes, on the soles, and of the nails (onychomycosis)
- fungal infections of the hand, located between the fingers and on the nails (onychomycosis)
- Candida skin infections
- Pityriasis versicolor
- inflammatory dermatomycoses (with or without itching).
In addition to its antifungal effect, Exoderil exhibits activity against various Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms that frequently occur in association with fungal infections.

How to use Exoderil Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

Exoderil is applied once daily in a thin layer to the affected skin area (which should be cleaned and dried beforehand) and gently massaged in.
Even if the symptoms of the skin infection (itching, burning) disappear quickly, it is important to continue treatment for another two weeks after the symptoms have vanished to ensure the fungal infection is completely cured.
Before or during the treatment of nail infections, the affected nail should be trimmed as short as possible and its surface protected.
Fungal nail infections require treatment over several months, until a new nail has grown in.
To cure the fungal infection (mycosis) as quickly as possible, please consider the following points: 1. Microbes can adhere to fabrics that come into contact with the infected skin area.
Therefore, it is necessary to change your clothes daily.
2. Healthy, and particularly dry, skin provides good protection against fungal infections.
It is recommended to avoid covering the infected skin area with tight clothing or garments that restrict or prevent airflow (e.

, synthetic fiber socks worn with tight shoes).
Additionally, the infected area must be dried thoroughly after washing.
Towels and clothing should be changed daily.
3. In the case of athlete's foot, do not walk barefoot at home, in the bathroom, or in places like hotels.
This helps prevent reinfection and the further spread of pathogenic microbes.
4. Saunas or steam baths should only be visited after the fungal infection has been completely cured.
How to store Exoderil Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store below 30ºC in the original package.
Do not use Exoderil cream after the expiry date stated on the package.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not dispose of any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
