Product description
Exoderil 10 mg/ml cutaneous solution (naftifine hydrochloride) is an antifungal medication for use on the skin.
It is recommended for the treatment of the following infections: - fungal infections of the skin or skin folds (tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis)
- fungal infections of the foot, particularly between the toes, on the soles, and of the nails (onychomycosis)
- fungal infections of the hand, located between the fingers and on the nails (onychomycosis)
- cutaneous Candida infections
- Pityriasis versicolor.
In addition to its antifungal effect, Exoderil exhibits activity against various Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms that frequently occur in association with fungal infections.
Furthermore, an effect is observed during clinical use
this effect leads to rapid relief of inflammatory symptoms, particularly itching.
Warnings and precautions Do not use Exoderil if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to naftifine hydrochloride or to any of the ingredients of Exoderil.
Exoderil contains ethanol
therefore, it must not come into contact with the eyes or be applied to areas of broken or damaged skin.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.

Exoderil is applied once daily to the affected skin area, after first cleaning and drying the area.
To prevent recurrence, treatment should be continued for 2 weeks after clinical healing.
Exoderil is for topical use only.
To help clear up the fungal infection (mycosis) as quickly as possible, please consider the following: 1. Microorganisms can adhere to fabrics that come into contact with the infected skin area.
Therefore, it is necessary to change your clothes daily.
2. Healthy, and particularly dry, skin provides good protection against fungal infections.
You should avoid covering the infected skin area with tight clothing or garments that restrict airflow or do not allow ventilation (e.
g.
, synthetic socks worn with tight shoes).
Also, ensure the infected area is thoroughly dried after washing.
Towels and clothing should be changed daily.
3. If you have athlete's foot, do not walk barefoot at home, in the bathroom, or in places like hotels.
This helps prevent reinfection and the further spread of pathogenic microorganisms.
4. Saunas or steam baths should only be used after the fungal infection has completely cleared up.
How to store Exoderil Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store below 30ºC in the original packaging.
Do not use Exoderil cutaneous solution after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not dispose of any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use.
These measures will help protect the environment.
