Calendula, also known as marigold, grows towards the sun with its bright orange-red flowers. The Calendula hand soap is an alkaline care product for hands, face, and the entire body. Specifications of Sonett organic calendula liquid soap The oils and essential oils used in these hand soaps are 100% organically cultivated or wild-harvested. Organic coconut fat is produced by small farmers in the Davao and Agusan regions of the Philippines. Coconut palms are grown in mixed cultivation on plots of up to 5 hectares. Organic olive oil comes from ancient olive groves in the Mediterranean region of northern Tunisia. Application and dosage Gentle and caring soap for hands, face, and the entire body. Suitable for hand washing in bathrooms, kitchens, and workshops. Can be used where soap is no longer permitted by law, such as in company restrooms and kitchens, grocery stores, food processing companies, social institutions, and restaurants. Also suitable for wall-mounted dispensers. Biodegradability Soap made from vegetable oils has the incomparable characteristic of forming a bond with lime, which is always present in wastewater immediately after use. As a result, the soap is neutralized regarding its surface-active effect (primary degradation). This primary degradation occurs within a few hours. The soap is then completely broken down by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Ethanol is reintegrated into the cycle within a few hours. In addition to the glycerin released from oils during saponification, we also use vegetable glycerin, which binds moisture in the skin. During the production process of the sugar surfactant, parts of starch, sugar, and fat are taken from vegetable raw materials, which are, however, fully preserved in their structure. Therefore, it is relatively easy for microorganisms to rapidly and completely break down these surfactants by 100%. According to the OECD, soap and sugar surfactants are readily .
