    Product details

    Product description

With a taste similar to pine nuts and sunflower seeds, hemp seeds can be used in any recipe.

In terms of nutritional content, hulled hemp seeds consist mainly of 30% protein, 42% fat, and 15% carbohydrates.

For diabetics, the glycemic index of hulled hemp seeds is considered low due to the low carbohydrate content.

The seeds are also full of nutrients that modulate blood sugar levels.

Additionally, hulled hemp seeds contain 30% protein, of which 65% is easily digestible protein known as edestin.

This plays an important role in the body because it is easy to digest and stimulates the production of antibodies that strengthen the immune system and protect us from the harmful effects of free radicals.

Hemp protein contains all 21 known amino acids, including the 8 essential amino acids that the adult human body cannot produce (leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, valine, and threonine).

Equally important is the high content of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids in hemp seeds.

These substances are extremely beneficial for heart health, aid brain development in children, reduce body inflammation, alleviate joint pain, lower levels, regulate blood pressure, and reduce the risk of developing numerous associated diseases.

Since our body cannot produce these two fatty acids on its own, it is very important to obtain these substances from food.

Foods rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 include: flaxseed oil, hemp, rapeseed, walnuts, chia, salmon, mackerel, sardines, hemp seeds – Omega 3, and hemp oil, rapeseed, walnuts, sunflower, sesame – Omega 6.Although there is no recommended daily intake (RDI) for essential fatty acids, many experts recommend a minimum of 3% of calories from omega-6 fatty acids and 1% from omega-3. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should double these doses.
