Product details Valerian tea 50g contains the roots of the valerian plant - rhizoma valerianae. valerian root contains volatile oil, caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, terpenoid substances, sesquiterpenes, salicylic acid, carbohydrates, flavonoids, tannins, resins, and coumarin. suggested use: infuse 1-2 teaspoons of the herb in a cup of boiling water. let it steep for 10-15 minutes. drink 1-2 cups of tea daily, or in the evening before bed. Valerian is a fragrant plant with a long stem reaching up to 2 meters. its leaves are deeply lobed, and the small, pinkish-lilac flowers are clustered at the top of the stem's branches. The plant thrives in moist soils, shrublands, forests, riparian areas, ditches and ravines, hillsides, and mountainous regions, spreading across all of europe and asia.
