Product description
Rivanol 0.1%, 200 ml – external solution.
Rivanol belongs to the group of dyes with antiseptic properties.
Its bactericidal action is due to interaction with microbial nucleic acids, disrupting vital processes.
The disinfectant solution based on rivanol is indicated for treating pyodermas, infected eczemas and mycotic dermatitides.
It can be used as a disinfectant, antiseptic, fungistatic or bactericidal agent that is non-irritating and non-toxic.
It does not irritate tissues or disturb phagocytosis.
Composition: rivanol (lactate of 2-ethoxy-6,9-diaminoacridine) and distilled water.
Indications and uses: asepsis of wounds, urogenital mucosae, oral mucosa or conjunctiva
also ed for infected eczemas and gingivitis.
Precautions and warnings: incompatible with sodium chloride, ammonium chloride, calcium chloride, zinc chloride, salicylic acid, tannic acid, chlormania, iodine and silver salts
do not mix or dilute with physiological saline.
Prolonged use may delay wound healing.
Storage: keep at temperatures between 15–30 °C.
Directions for use: apply gently by dabbing, rubbing, dressing or brushing the lesion, around painful joints and inflammatory foci.
