Product description
MC100CM is a media converter that transfers data between copper UTP 100Base-TX and fiber optic 100BASE-FX or vice versa.
It complies with IEEE 802.3u standards for 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX, suitable for use with multi-mode fiber optic cables and SC connectors.
It supports long wave specifications (LX) for laser with maximum cable retransmission.
Operating at 1310nm for transmitting and receiving data, the module can function standalone or with TP-Link 19" chassis, offers auto-detection of MDI/MDI-X for TX port, auto-negotiation duplex mode for TX port, and front-panel LED status indicators.
MC100CM supports fiber optic multi-mode transmissions up to 2 km, implements Link Fault Passthrough and Far End Fault functions to minimize connection failures, and allows Full Duplex/Half Duplex mode switching for FX port.
