MC112CS is a media converter that transfers data from copper UTP connection 100Base-TX to optical fiber 100Base-FX or vice-versa.
It adopts WDM technology for transmitting and receiving data through a single fiber cable, reducing cabling costs by half.
Designed in compliance with IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards, it is intended for use with single-mode optical fiber cable with SC connector.
It supports long wavelength (LX) laser specifications at maximum transmission rate.
Operates at 1310nm for data transmission and 1550nm for reception.
Includes standalone or chassis-mounted operation, auto MDI/MDI-X detection, auto-negotiation duplex mode, and LED status indicators.
Offers single-mode fiber transmission over extended distances up to 20 km.
Supports Link Fault Passthrough and Far End Fault functions to minimize connection downtime.
