Product description
Manufacturer: vetplus ltd, docklands, dock road, lytham, fy8 5aq, england. Indication: calmex contains a unique combination of l-tryptophan, phosphatidylserine (as lecithin), rhodiola rosea extract, passiflora incarnata extract and a b-vitamin complex to help dogs relieve stress, anxiety, fear or nervousness.
Composition (per capsule): lecithin (phosphatidylserine source) 45 mg
Rhodiola rosea 50 mg L-tryptophan 120 mg Passionflower incarnata 40 mg Vitamin b1 (thiamine) 0. As 3 mg Vitamin b3 (niacinamide) 3. 0 mg B6 vitamin (pyridoxine) 0. 3 mg.
Active ingredient role: phosphatidylserine supports neurotransmitter production and synaptic activity, and helps normalize stress response. Rhodiola rosea can help animals adapt to stress by modulating the stress axis and influencing serotonin and dopamine levels. L-tryptophan converts to serotonin and has been shown to reduce stress-related and aggressive behavior in stressed dogs.
passiflora incarnata has anxiolytic properties that act on gaba receptors. B vitamins contribute to adrenal protection, sleep quality and neurotransmitter synthesis Common uses: calmex can be helpful in situations such as noise phobias (fireworks, storms), anxiety stemming from environmental changes (house moving, travel, kennel stays), and separation anxiety. Dosage and application: for best results, start 3 days before a stressful event. 30-60 minutes before entering an acute stress factor, if necessary, can be given a double dose. It can be used for a long time in combination with emotional therapy or chronic stress. - under 10 kg: 1 tablet - 10-20 kg: 2 tablets - 20-30 kg: 3 tablets - 30-40 kg: 4 tablets - 40-50 kg: 5 tablets packaging: small, quite delicious tablets are presented in blister packs
