Target species: Cat. Contents: • phosphatidylserine: plays a role in the production and release of neurotransmitters, the functioning of receptors, and synaptic activity. phosphatidylserine has been shown to normalize the stress response of the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (hpa) axis. • l-tryptophan: converted to serotonin. l-tryptophan has been shown to reduce stress-related behaviors and decrease aggressive behavior in stressed cats. • vitamin b1 (thiamine): a nutrient that offers protection to the adrenal glands. it helps reduce cortisol levels caused by stress. • vitamin b3 (niacinamide): improves sleep quality and quantity.helps convert tryptophan to serotonin. • vitamin b6(pyridoxine): co-factor in the synthesis of gaba, serotonin and dopamine. Usage: Calmex cat can help in situations like: bringing a new cat into the home, fear of noises like fireworks or thunder, anxiety caused by environmental changes such as moving to a new home or renovations, traveling by car and staying in a hotel/motel, going to the vet, or getting a haircut. Dosage and application method: For best results, apply 3 days before a stressful event. if necessary, a double dose can be given 30-60 minutes before an acute stressor. it can also be used long-term if the cat is trying to adjust to a new situation (multiple cats in the same household, moving, or owner changes) or is experiencing chronic stress.
