Amsterdam in the present day.
A murder has been committed, but the police investigation is going nowhere.
An anonymous client has called your detective agency, but rival agencies are also on the scene, so there is no time to lose.
The chief officer guides the detectives through the city, and they send images from the scene for communication.
You have to decode the images faster than the rival agents, without the police finding out.
Explore the city to find 3 clues and send them to the client before your rivals, in order to get paid.
The police don't want you to take care of the case, so you better not stand in their way.
If they see you, they'll put you in jail, and your rivals will have an easier time.
Shadows - Amsterdam is a direct competition between detective agents, who, with the help of images from the scene, communicate in code with the team and the chief officer to solve cases and get paid by clients.
The first agents to find the clues, decode them and deliver the messages before the other agencies win.
