Neem Oil (Azadirachta indica) Neem is an evergreen tree that can reach a height between 15-20 meters, from the Meliaceae family, native to India and Pakistan.

In unfavorable, dry conditions, it can shed its leaves to avoid drying out, thus a neem tree can live about 200 years.

The first neem fruits, similar to olives, appear after the tree turns 4 years old, and after the age of 10, the harvest can weigh up to 40 kilograms per year.

In Ayurvedic medicine, for over 5000 years, neem has been used in treating various skin conditions.

Besides proteins and 100 bioactive substances, neem contains three important substances: nimbin with and antiseptic roles, nimbanin, and nimbidin with effects.
